In 1958, the San Francisco Giants moved their team from the New York area all the way to the California Bay Area. This 2008 season, the Giants seek to celebrate the 50th anniversary being located in the Bay Area by striving to bring home an NL West title. The Giants will attempt to do so without the help of home run champion Barry Bonds.
With Bonds gone from the team, one of the players to focus on this year may be the Giants closing pitcher, Brian Wilson. With endless energy and a strong passion for the game, players are confident this new closer will make his mark on the team. Teammates have noticed Wilson's focus and intensity for the position and are excited to see his performance this 2008 season. Other teammates have watched in awe as his talent have shocked several because of his young age.
The San Francisco Giants are looking to make it far this season and need the help of each of their fans! Become one of the first to purchase Giants tickets today!
